Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract any location data from images.

Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and automatically approve follow-up comments.

For registered users (if any), we store personal information in user profiles. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal data at any time (except usernames). Administrators can also manage this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data or request erasure of any personal data we hold (excluding data we must retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes).

Where your data is sent

  • Visitor comments and metadata may be processed by an automated spam detection service.

  • Interaction and usage data are sent to Microsoft (for Clarity) and Google (for Analytics and Search Console) on servers located in their respective regions.
