Wall-hung toilets require a concealed steel frame (like a Geberit frame) built into the wall to support the weight, offering a sleek, modern look and easier floor cleaning. Floor-standing toilets are secured directly to the floor, making them generally quicker to install and ideal for properties with solid or stud walls where concealed framing isn’t feasible.

We use a combination of high-quality rubber slip washes, plumber’s putty or silicone on the tap-seating, and carefully tightened compression joints. For waste outlets, we ensure the pop-up or slotted waste is perfectly aligned before applying a neat bead of sanitary silicone to seal the basin to the countertop.

Every installation includes a properly sized and positioned P-trap or bottle trap. These traps hold a small water seal that acts as a physical barrier, preventing sewer gases and foul odours from travelling back up the waste pipe and into your bathroom.

While high-quality sanitary silicone may feel dry to the touch within 30 to 60 minutes, we strongly recommend waiting at least 12 to 24 hours before using the bath or shower. This ensures the sealant fully cures, creating a permanent, waterproof, and mould-resistant bond.

We assess the wall structure to ensure it can bear the weight of the vanity, basin, and potential water load. For plasterboard walls, we locate and reinforce the timber studs or install heavy-duty toggle anchors. The wall is also checked for plumbness and pipework is chased or concealed neatly before the unit is mounted.
